A woman has been meeting with strangers while traveling for work, giving those who may need a pick-me-up at the Houston airport.
In an interview with CBS News, Catherine Knight said:
I just want somebody’s day to be better. I really just want to make the world a better place.Catherine Knight
Knight approached a woman who was taking a flight with her three kids. She said “I was super stressed,” she said. “So, yeah, that [card] was a nice little pick-me-up.”
While some travelers have been uplifted by the friendly cards during the Coronavirus pandemic, Knight doesn’t see this act of kindness as a new thing.
For three years now, she and Parker (her son) have been writing messages for Strangers. As of today, they have written about 25,000 notes, just to help uplift others.
