Utnoor’s DSP N. Uday Reddy, took it upon himself to assist 20-odd villagers with different degrees of vision. These villagers needed medical assistance.

About 260 tribals of Jamda village in Adilabad district are now back to normal life. Mr. Uday Reddy planned to get back the vision of at least 600 people by the end of this March. Uday will be sponsoring the whole medical expenses from his personal savings.

The 29-year-old officer said that the Durga Partel, the Village head informed him about vision impairment during a customary visit to Jamda on Diwali last year.

The police also carried out more than 550 medical camps in 300 villages in the Utnoor sub-division. Furthermore, the DSP created Police Youth Clubs to harness the tribal youth power towards the desired goal.

We created Police Youth Club WhatsApp messaging group for every village to share awareness messages, including cybercrimes, and fight fake news. Corporates like Amazon, Big Basket, and Flipkart have hired people from Utnoor and surrounding villages.
