Exactly a year later, this charitable group has really assisted in feeding many kids and families in Oakland despite food insecurity.
The duo has served not less than sixteen million meals throughout the past twelve months. According to Stephen Curry, it was not easy feeding several people. However, the foundation was able to act fast. They weren’t expecting to have such a huge impact on people within the space of one year.
Curry explained further that they are elated with the nature of their work. However, it is difficult to celebrate because it is glaring the needs are so many.

When the duo launched their charitable foundation in the summer of 2019, they were looking forward to addressing just three pillars of healthful childhoods. They include: nutrition, education, and recreaton.
Ayesha Curry had originally been famous in the food world. This made the focus on nutrition so natural. Hence, within few months of starting out, the need has risen. Ayesha Curry revealed that there was the learning curve for them. They needed to learn fast how to think ahead.
Steph and Ayesha focus on the great importance of timing. They also manage their role as a distributor, organizer and leader.
Chris Helfrich, the CEO pointed out how the foundation is a partner oriented organization. They have been able to influence many partners across the community. The Foundation’s biggest donors are the Currys. During COVID-19, the meal delivery initiative has been three-pronged.
