This is indeed a life-changing idea as the son creates smartwatch app to stop his father’s nightmares. Tyler Skluzacek, the son of vet Patrick Skluzaceksaw noticed that his dad’s life had become to take another turn due to his recurring nightmares.

He then decided to help his father through these trying times. Tyler had learned about an upcoming computer programming event in Washington when he was a senior at a College in Minnesota. When he learned that the event would teach people how to create apps, he decided to take part in the training.

Tyler and his team brought up the idea of a prototype, that would help stop the nightmares his father always had. The smartwatch app measures the heart rate of the wearer to detect nocturnal disturbances.

Before the nightmare starts, the app offers a subtle disruption to help reset the sleep pattern of the wearer. Tyler who graduated as a computer scientist from the University of Chicago realized that the smart app he created for his father has been very helpful.

It was night and day when I put that watch on and it started working. The vibrations worked like “little miracles.”

This newly approved Apple Watch-compatible technology would soon be available by prescription. It will help transform nightmares into sweeter experiences and bring rest to military veterans in the future. Patrick’s son creates smartwatch app to help him get good sleep every night.
