Marcus Rashford sent a surprise gift to a 9-year-old boy appreciating him for the efforts and time he put into charity. Jacob was encouraged by Marcus’ efforts to deal with child poverty and then started running for charity Fare Share.
Jacob’s family was surprised when they got a letter and a PlayStation 5 from Rashford. 23-year-old Rashford campaigned against child food poverty during the pandemic and got appointed an MBE. Jacob, who is a Manchester United fan wanted to be of help; so, he decided to look for ways to get funds.
Jacob set up an Instagram account to keep track of his progress. When Rashford noticed what Jacob had been doing to fight child food poverty, he messaged Jacob’s father about where he could send the gift.

In the letter, Marcus Rashford said that he was so proud of Jacob’s effort. Jacob said that when he got the letter he began to jump around the room. He maintained that the English striker is his favorite player and he hopes to see him play more for England.
