Kevin Hart raises $10.5M during a telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It is no doubt that Hart has taken over from where Jerry Lewis stopped. Jerry Lewis was the mega-successful fundraiser of the charity until he died, and Hart has decided to take over.
The MDA telethon was streamed live and it featured several comedians and musicians. It also featured behind-the scenes overview of the essential work of charities, research, advocacy, and care. The telethon benefited Help From the Hart Charity and MDA.

The MDA Labor Day telethon has raised almost $2 billion since 1956, making it the most successful fundraising event in television’s history. However, Kevin Hart raises $10.5M during this year’s MDA telethon.
