As part of the effort made towards COVID-19, Kenya donates food products to India. The eastern African country donated 12 tonnes of food products which include Tea, Nuts, and coffee. India has been going through the second wave of COVID-19 and the Kenya Government wishes to support the Indian government by sending food products.
According to the High Commissioner of the African country to India, this donation should be given to frontline workers who have been saving lives. The Vice-Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society maintained that the donation shows how Kenyans are empathetic to the people of India and this is reassuring.

The Union Health Ministry revealed that India had a record of 1,65,553 new cases, making it a total of 2,78, 94, 800 cases. The death toll increased to 3,25,972 in India with 3,460 CoVID-19 related deaths recorded within a day.
20,63,839 COVID-19 tests were carried out in the country. The number of active cases reduced to 21, 14,508. As Kenya donates these food products, this is a big relief for India. The global community as a whole has been supporting India during these tough times.
