A mechanic based in South Carolina has been known to fix old cars and then donate them to families residing in the rural areas. People have heard his inspiring story and they have decided to donate almost 800 cars to this cause.
Eliot Middleton, in an interview with CBS News said that:
My phone started exploding from all over the place. Whatever glowing feeling is inside me, it just transferred from that TV screen and went inside them.Middleton
As reported earlier, Middleton’s yard is filled with used cars. What he does is to give these cars a new life and then assist those in the low country of South Carolina.
In June, Middleton revealed to CBS:
There’s no public transportation. There’s no Ubers, there’s no taxis or nothing like that.Middleton
Some of the people that receive these fixed cars include job seekers, single moms, and aged folks with appointments with a doctor. During the last Christmas celebration, the mechanic gifted Jessica Litchfield, who is a single mom with a 2004 model Suzuki. This woman described his job as a lifesaver.

Middleton’s sister has also assisted her own way. She’s been organizing a great response to his great deeds that also includes over $100,000 coming in as cash donations.
