The residents of Hallsley neighborhood appreciated a Virginia UPS driver for his work during the pandemic. Mr. Anthony Gakin has been a UPS driver that delivers packages for a while now, however, members of the community where he works deemed it fit to appreciate him.
They all gathered to cheer up this Virginia UPS driver especially for how he made them feel during the pandemic and for delivering packages with a smile. A lot has been said about this delivery man. Many neighbors praised him for his hard work and handling everything with positivity.
According to a neighbor, Patty Friedman, during the pandemic, Anthony has been delivering packages at people’s doorsteps. He has been doing his job diligently and he delivers packages with a smile on his face.

“I wanted to thank him personally for how much he helped me feel welcome when I moved in during a pandemic. It was terribly lonely and he was always the highlight of my day.”Friedman
Friedman said when she told other neighbors about Anthony, they also spoke well of him. With that, she knew she wasn’t alone. Anthony has been kind to other neighbors too and he seems to deliver packages with the same positivity.
When Gaskin saw the number of people that left their home to appreciate him, he was filled with tears as he wasn’t expecting this. To his greatest surprise, his UPS supervisors were also there to cheer him up as hundreds of people line on the street to praise him.
People carried placards with his name written on them and cheered him up. This was really emotional for Mr. Anthony. It appears that most residents love Mr. Anthony.
A neighbor who has a six-year-old daughter said that the packages Mr. Anthony delivered to her brought joy to her daughter as most of the packages are from her grandparents she hasn’t seen for more than a year.
