Since the pandemic has been keeping most students at home and parents have been experiencing high stress levels, the Goldie Hawn Foundation with its MindUP program uncovered a new service that families can access for free 24/7.

In collaboration with Insight Timer, the biggest free meditation app in the world, MindUP is now providing short five-minute exercises. The accredited curriculum teaches daily gratitude and “brain breaks” that enhance focus, resiliency, empathy, and optimism.
The audio exercises are designed to help children control their emotions and as well as increase general well-being through mindful awareness, social-emotional learning, and positive psychology. These exercises are available in different languages such as English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.
