According to police, a Florida waitress saved an 11-years-old boy that could have been abused by sending secretly flashed notes to him. She tried to ask the boy if he needed help by just flashing the notes.

Flaviane Carvalho, the Florida waitress flashed a note that read: “Do you need help.”  When the boy saw this, he nodded yes. With this, Carvalho knew immediately what to do. Carvalho who was a waitress and a manager at Mrs. Potato restaurant immediately contacted the Orlando Police Department.

The police are now praising this Florida waitress for saving this boy from his abusers. The 11-year-old boy’s step-father was arrested on the charges of neglect and child abuse. The child’s mother, Kristen Swann was also arrested after a week the incident happened.

She was arrested on the charge of child neglect.  According to police, the incident happened at the restaurant on New Year’s Day. The boy went to the restaurant with his mother, younger sister, and stepfather.

Carvalho revealed that she noticed some bruises and scratches on the boy’s body and he didn’t get any order for food.

When I looked at the boy, I saw a big scratch between his eyebrows. I started observing them and I could (see) that he was super quiet and sad.

The waitress said that she flashed a sign at him to ask if he was OK and then another one to be sure if he needed help.

According to reports, when the boy was examined in a hospital, they realized he had bruises on his arms, earlobes, and eyelids. He was 20 pounds underweight. The boy revealed that his parents wouldn’t give him food as punishment. He also said they made him do rigorous exercises.

He also said that his parents hung him upside down and tied his ankles and neck. He has also been beaten with objects.

That child was destined to be killed. That’s how severe the injuries were. That’s how horrific the recollection of the abuse the child shared with us was.
