A first-grader known as Paris Williams is ready to save the world with her foundation. Paris Williams who is just 6-years old has decided to begin with the homeless in St. Louis and she would be able to achieve this through Paris Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization she founded.

She was inspired to show acts of kindness towards people through a book titled “One Boy’s Magic” and written by Cari Chadwick Deal.

She was reading books at school about giving and she came home one day, and she was like, ‘I want to give back to the homeless. What can we do to help the homeless? We kind of brainstormed some ideas and we came up making care packages.

Paris’s Mother, Alicia Marshall

Paris and her parents have distributed more than 500 care packages containing drinks, food, and some essential items through non-contact delivery. Paris’s parents helped to gather the items, but Paris single-handedly filled each package and placed a personal note on every bag. Each of these bags was tagged Paris Care Packages.

Even though Paris is just a first-grader, her act of kindness has shown that she is full of big dreams. Apart from catering for the homeless, over 250 meals have been donated to essential workers in St. Louis and she intends to give more. She plans to raise money to get toys for kids in need this Christmas and also hold a hot-food drive for homeless people this Thanksgiving.

It makes me really proud because with everything that’s going on in the world this small child who is entering first grade has such a big heart. She wants to give. She wants to help others.

Her mother

It is your duty to train your kids as a parent, but Paris’s mother still finds it difficult to believe how her little girl has taught her in a few months. Paris might be the initiator of this whole operation, but her parents have supported her.

Any time from now the Paris Cares Foundation’s paperwork will be approved and while waiting for this, the work continues. Paris has started raising funds to support her mission by selling t-shirts and masks. You can donate to her Paris’s foundation directly or buy a mask or t-shirt from her Bonfire account.
