An English woman, Paula has just rediscovered her lost wedding ring a few days before celebrating her 40th wedding anniversary. The ring had gone missing shortly after she got married, it got lost when she was playing with her son back in 1983.
Despite searching the grounds thoroughly with a metal detector, the ring was never found. Paula Walter who is now 65 tied the knot with her lovely husband, Joe who is now 73 on August 28th, 1980. She was heartbroken by the disappearance of her lovely wedding ring.
My house backs onto woodland and I thought possibly that the ring flew in there. I thought it was gone forever. Over the years—whenever we’ve been in the garden or out there—I’ve always said ‘have a look for the ring,’ but we never found it.Paula
Paula was very happy when the missing ring was found last month. Fortunately, Paula hired the services of a local landscaping company, Man for All Seasons, to have her garden cleaned up a few days before the wedding anniversary.

We had a gardening company come in and landscape our garden and I told them about the ring and the whole story. They called me out into the garden a while later saying they had a surprise for me and then handed me my wedding ring.Paula
It was in the garden where I was standing and where I had been playing ball with my son all those years ago. I was so shocked but incredibly grateful. It’s wonderful to have it back.Paula
The garden had been dug up several times in the past but all efforts to find the ring proved futile, however, the gardeners struck the gold. Paula is so lucky to find her missing ring after so many years.
