Dave Grohl has continued to enjoy himself amidst the pandemic as he accepted a drum challenge from a 10-year-old British girl.

On August 17th, a viral clip went viral and was viewed by more than 500,000 times on YouTube. In this video, 10-year-old Nandi Bushell, drummer delivered an excellent performance of Foo Fighters’ “Everlong.”

Bushell had previously covered the Queens of the Stone Age’s “No One Knows,” which later went viral. Brushell also played Nirvana’s “In Bloom” on an episode of Ellen this year.

My dream is to one day jam with Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins and, all the @Foo Fighters! Mr. Grohl I would love to have a drum battle with you! I LOVE Everlong it’s really hard to play as it’s so fast but so much FUN.

Dave Grohl responded to the challenge in a video uploaded onto the Foo Fighters’ Twitter telling Brushell that he got hundreds of texts about the young drummer’s challenge.

Grohl played “Everlong” on his daughter Harper’s kit before saying that he hasn’t played that song since the day it was recorded in 1997. According to him, Drummer Taylor Hawkins plays the song on tour almost every night. Grohl challenged Bushell to drums on what he is familiar with, Them Crooked Vultures’ “Dead End Friends.”

I’ve seen all your videos, I’ve seen you on TV, you’re an incredible drummer. “I’m really flattered you picked some of my songs to do for your videos. “This is my response to your challenge. Now the ball is in your court.

Challenge Accepted! Mr. Grohl you are amazing! Thank you so much.
