A Burglar was offered job after he was caught on surveillance cameras by a Georgia business owner, who refused to get him jailed. The suspect was caught breaking into Diablo’s Southwest Grill, a restaurant in Augusta, Georgia.
Earlier on Saturday before 4:30 am, a suspected thief broke into the restaurant in Georgia. When caught on camera, the suspect was seen grabbing the cash register and thoroughly shaking it off. Having realized there was no cash in it, he vanished away from the scene.
Carl Wallace, co-founder of the restaurant revealed that the suspect had thrown some brick through the glass which caused a lot of damage to the door. To replace the broken door, it cost about $1,000. This was more than the amount of money the suspect could have gotten from the register.

However, Wallace posted on Facebook that he would be offering the suspect a job. He stated that he would never ask any questions or involve the cops in the case. He indicated an interest in helping the suspect get a better life. He also showed interest in becoming a mentor to the burglar offered job.
Wallace has shown keen interest in fixing the “broken” system. He also hopes the suspect will show interest in the job. However, if the burglar was arrested, this would cause him to have a felony on his record. This would affect his chances of later getting a job.
Wallace urged further that the act be stopped and the society is reshaped and fixed. He believes that the follow-up story is better and greater than the incipient story. He believes there are better opportunities than the path the burglar had chosen. However, Wallace hopes the suspect takes up this offer soon.
