We have seen many superheroes in movies, but this time a real-life hero passing by rescues two people and pets from a burning house in New Haven.

Firefighters were on their way to rescue, in the meantime Nick Ricci who was driving past the home analyzed the situation.

He immediately jumped out of the car ran into the home and found out a man and his grandmother were stuck in the kitchen. Grandmother in a wheelchair could not move, as the wheels were stuck.

Her grandson and Ricci together were able to unlock the wheels and managed to get the grandmother out safely.

Later on Ricci said, “I believe, being as an American I must save other people’s life. We all should take care of eachother. There were some people on the front lawn still there were no first responders. I was not sure if everyone came out of the hose safely a baby or a kid. So I went right in, to check if everyone got out.”

Ricci and the grandson also went back to the burning building to rescue the birds as well. All of them were able to escape the fire unharmed.
