A nearly-retired couple has just adopted 7 siblings that lost their parents. Pam Willis was going through Facebook when she saw something that caught her attention, a post read ‘Seven Siblings in Need of Forever Home.’
According to the story on Facebook, the children’s parents died in a car accident. So, the siblings were placed in foster care. Pam Wills said the moment she saw their sweet faces, she loved them instantly.
Pam knew what to do immediately she saw the post, she tagged Gary, her husband, on the post. By the end of that day, they had decided to adopt all the children.

We knew deep inside that this mission was being placed before us. If not us, then who? Who would keep them all together? Who would have space for them? Who would have the time, and the love, and the patience for their trauma? The answer was clear…Pam
Pam knew this was their call. She had wondered why they had a six-bedroom apartment with the last child’s bedroom about to be vacated. The only answer was that the rooms were meant for their new babies.
Two months after contacting the foster care, Pam and Gary were granted the children’s custody. The eldest children didn’t find it easy as they had felt unsafe in the past due to their past experiences. These children have been facing a lot even before the death of their parents, their parent struggled with substance abuse and as such, they couldn’t provide a stable environment for their children while they were alive.
The Willises understood that they had to be patient with these children to earn their trust. Last year August, the adoption was made official. The biological kids of the nearly-retired couple attended the virtual ceremony.
